Python, data science and programming
Python training from your first script through to advanced work: the language, data analysis with pandas and Polars, testing, automation, and SQL. Courses run for newcomers to programming and for experienced developers moving to Python.
AI Charmers
AI and machine learning
Technical AI and machine learning training for people who build these systems and write code with the models. Topics include machine learning foundations, deep learning with PyTorch, large language models, and the engineering that keeps a model working once it is in production.
Custom and specialised training
We also write custom training for your organisation on any related topic. We start from what your team already knows and what they need to do, then design a course around your datasets and your problems. Where a subject is outside our expertise, we find the experts and work with them.
We can also run any of our standard courses privately for your company. A private course suits team training. Senior staff can support junior colleagues while learning alongside them, and the group works through the exercises together.
Where a course needs groundwork first, we take on consulting to develop the material and understand the systems it has to cover.
Who we are
Specialist technical training since 2009
Charmers Training is an Australian company with offices in Melbourne and Singapore. We run two specialist training brands: Python Charmers and AI Charmers.
Since 2009 we have delivered over 700 courses to more than 7,000 people in 40 cities. We ask every participant for feedback afterwards. Across all 1,036 responses, 98% would recommend us and 93% would come back for more training.
Our trainers are practitioners with deep roots in the open source community, and they teach the tools they use. Trainers are the highest-rated part of our feedback survey. Of the participants who responded, 99.5% agreed their trainer had a firm grasp of the content.
Courses are hands-on and taught in small groups. Participants write code from the first session, with exercises throughout the course. We teach the theory behind each method as well, so participants leave with work they understand.
